An incentive spirometer is a simple device used to improve lung function by encouraging deep breathing. It is commonly used after surgery or in patients with respiratory conditions to strengthen lungs and prevent complications.
Step-by-Step Usage:
Sit straight in a comfortable position to allow your lungs to expand fully.
Hold the Device Properly
Keep the spirometer in an upright position so the balls can move freely.


Exhale Normally
Breathe out gently before placing the mouthpiece in your mouth.


Seal Your Lips
Place the mouthpiece in your mouth and seal your lips tightly around it.


Inhale Slowly
Breathe in slowly and deeply.

Hold Your Breath
Hold your breath for 3β5 seconds to allow your lungs to expand fully.
Exhale Slowly
Remove the mouthpiece and breathe out slowly.
Repeat
